My Approach

Unfortunately there is still a Worldwide stigma attached to discussing mental health, having suicidal thoughts and undertaking therapy. It can be a difficult process if you have never been to therapy before and some individuals hold back from seeking a Counsellor or Therapist due to being worried of what to expect or listen to other’s experiences. At The Flawed Journey, I ensure to have the correct approach towards each individuals needs which will make you feel at ease, comfortable with the process and give you step by step care to ensure your not on your Counselling journey alone at any point.

I believe a good therapist is supportive, non judgemental and confidential but you as a client also need to ensure you feel comfortable and can fully connect with your therapist. Don’t give up after the first or second session as it can take a few sessions to understand or communicate effectively with your therapist but finding someone you feel at ease with is vital to the success of your treatment.

I offer a free 20 minute consultation for all new clients who wish to undertake Counselling or Therapy sessions, this will give me your therapist and you the client a better understanding if we will be able to connect and collaborate together before beginning sessions.
