ONLINE THERAPY

Online therapy, also known as e-therapy, e-counselling, telehealth, or cyber-counselling, involves providing mental health services and support over the internet. This can occur through email, text messaging, video conferencing, online chat, messaging, or internet phone.

The Flawed Journey offer their services online via phone call or zoom video call and we work closely with individuals around Australia, New Zealand, Asia, UK & Ireland.

Rest assured, our online services are delivered with the same standards and duty of care that you would expect if you visited our team via face to face.

ADVANTAGES OF ONLINE THERAPY

  • Easier access: Clients who live in remote area or who have limited mobility / access to transport may be more motivated to participate in online therapy.

  • Reduced cost: Online therapy eliminates the costs associated with both travel time and costs.

  • Consistent therapy: Online therapy decreases absences / long pauses due to poor  weather conditions or sickness, allowing clients to participate in therapy on a more frequent basis.

  • Increased progress: Since online therapy provides more consistency it can accelerate progress.

  • Improved access to sessions: Online therapy can allow individuals in remote areas or expats who are on the move to get help.

  • Psychological comfort: Online therapy can help with the social stigma related to receiving mental health support.

  • Flexibility: Therapists have further sessions available outside of working hours meaning individuals can access sessions around their lifestyle and schedules.
