Our Values & Mission
What matters to me
🤎 You can show up as you are
-
You don't need to have the right words, have everything figured out, or present a polished version of yourself. I want therapy to be a space where you can be honest about how you're really feeling without fear of judgement, criticism or shame.
🪞 You are more than your struggles
-
I believe there is always more to your story than a diagnosis, difficult experience or current struggle. Together, we'll explore what has shaped you while recognising your strengths, individuality and capacity for change.
🌱 Therapy is a shared journey
-
You are the expert in your own life. I'm not here to tell you what to do or “fix” you. I'll walk alongside you, offering support, curiosity, challenge and guidance while you remain an active part of your own journey.
🤝 Everyone deserves to feel welcome
-
I strive to create an inclusive, respectful and non-judgemental space where people from different backgrounds, cultures, identities and walks of life feel safe to be themselves.
🔎 Therapy should be thoughtful and evidence-informed
-
My work is grounded in established therapeutic approaches and psychological theory, while remaining flexible enough to meet you as an individual. I draw from Person-Centred, CBT and Psychodynamic approaches, alongside additional training and ongoing professional development.
🌿 Your whole self matters
-
Mental health doesn't exist in isolation. Where appropriate, our work may include mindfulness, self-awareness, wellbeing and the relationship between your thoughts, emotions, body and everyday life.
📚 I'm always learning
-
Therapy is a journey for therapists too. I remain committed to ongoing learning, professional development, regular supervision and reflective practice so that I can continue to grow in the way I support my clients.
Vision
Mission
A world where you don't have to struggle alone.
I want The Flawed Journey to be a space where therapy feels accessible, relatable and human not something intimidating or reserved for when things reach breaking point.
My vision is to help create a culture where people feel more comfortable talking about their mental health, understanding themselves and asking for support when they need it. Ultimately, I want clients to leave therapy feeling more connected to themselves, more compassionate towards who they are, and more confident in creating a life that feels authentically theirs.
Because you don't need to become someone else to live a meaningful life.
Making therapy feel more human.
-
The mission of The Flawed Journey is to provide warm, accessible and personalised therapy for adults navigating anxiety, self-worth, relationships, childhood experiences, trauma and life's transitions.
Through online therapy, education and mental health resources, I aim to:
-
Create a safe, confidential and genuinely non-judgemental space.
-
Make therapy feel approachable rather than clinical or intimidating.
-
Help people understand themselves, their emotions and their patterns more deeply.
-
Support clients in developing greater self-worth, self-compassion and confidence.
-
Encourage open conversations about mental health and reduce the shame that can surround asking for help.
-
Provide therapy that is flexible and tailored to each person's individual needs and circumstances.
-
Continue developing my own knowledge and practice so that the support I provide remains thoughtful, ethical and informed.
-
The Flawed Journey isn't about becoming a perfect version of yourself.
-
It's about understanding the person you are, making peace with the parts you've struggled to accept, and creating a life that feels more like your own.
